Show University Women Hear Professor, Wife Speak Mar. 7 American Association of University Uni-versity Women met Wednesday evening at the Central School building. Bethel Allred was chairman chair-man and Lola Taylor and Leone Carson hostesses. Speakers at the meeting' were Dr. and Mrs. Morrill of the BYU. Dr. and Mrs. Morrill recently returned re-turned from Iran where they were sent on a government assignment, fcr improving and setting up a new school and educational system. The speakers had pictures and film of schools and educational facilities of Iran and also of the new system which our government is helping to work out. Mrs. Morrill told of living conditions con-ditions in' Iran and of the care and precautions that must be taken for food, as there is little means of sanitation and preservation of the foodstuffs. Mr. Morrill stated that he had contact with 400 teachers there. A tasty lunch was enjoyed. At the previous meeting- held also al-so in Miss Margaret Hayes room at the Central School, Grant In-gersoll In-gersoll was the speaker and discussed dis-cussed the United States and its relationship to the rest of the world.
