Show Annua! Lindon Fair Banquet Held March 7 Seventy-four persons, including Lindon Fair Board, Lions Club, and City Council members and their partners as well as members of both the Lindon Wards' Bishoprics Bishop-rics with their wives, attended the annual banquet staged Wednesday evening for the express purpose of honoring last year's Lindon Community Fair workers. Verl Dixon of Provo, county commissioner, and his wife were among the honored guests present. Mayor Harold Keetch, fair board president, praised County Commissioner Commis-sioner Dixon for the fine cooperation coopera-tion and help that he and the other county commissioners have given to help make Lindon's annual an-nual fairs successful. A variety program which featured feat-ured Kenneth R. Gillman as master mas-ter of ceremonies followed the ham dinner served at tables decorated in St. Patrick's colors and motif. As is the usual custom at every yearly banquet, motion pictures of the preceding' year's banquet and fair were shown by Mayor Keetch. Recently, vhen Fair Board members mem-bers met to set a date for their annal banquet and to hear their financial report read they decided to give a $150 check (a portion of their profits) to the Lions Club to apply on the annual payment of $1000 on the park property. |
