Show Two Local Couples Return from Trip Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hilton and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane have returned from a most enjoyable enjoy-able trip to Southern Utah, Nevada Nev-ada and Arizona. At St. George the Hiltons visited vis-ited with their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Jarvis and as Mr. Macfarlane was bom in St. George, he and his wife had no trouble finding relatives as well as old haunts to visit. The group enjoyed three sessions at the St. George Temple where each were asked to speak at the morning session. Their next stop was at Las Vegas Veg-as where the residents of that city had their first snow storm in seven sev-en years. After crossing Hoover Dam, they drove to Mesa, Arizona and there attended for temple sessions ses-sions and viewed the country around. One very interesting thing in their sightseeing was an old canal, built by the Indians hun- dreds of years ago. While in Mesa the Macfarlanes visited with Mrs. Macfarlane's sister sis-ter and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Scott. They came back by way of Man-ti Man-ti where they were joined by Mrs. Hilton's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Walker of Ogden and with them enjoyed a temple session there, and on the way home visited with Joseph and Ethel Anderson An-derson at Spanish Fork. |
