Sunday, March 18 A Farewell Testimonial for Vance Joel West will be held in the Sixth Ward Chapel, Sunday March 18, at 7:30 p.m. prior to his departure to serve as an LDS Missionary in the Swiss-German Mission. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vance M. West. He will sail from New York on the steamship "United States" on April 7. Vance attended the Pleasant Grove High School and graduated with the class of 1954, as an honor student. While in high school he was prominent in music and athletics. ath-letics. He is also a graduate of the Pleasant Grove Seminary. Since his high school graduation gradua-tion he has been a student at the Brigham Young University. He has been active in church affairs in the Sixth Ward and currently is Ward Chorister, Secretary of the YMMIA, and Secretary of the Elders Quorum. All Ward members and other friends of the family are cordially invited to attend the tstimonial.
