Show Clair V. Roundy Promoted in Steel Co. Position Appointment of native Utahn V. Clair Roundy to the post of cost accountant for Columbia-Geneva Columbia-Geneva Steel Coal Mines and Quarries was announced today by T. C. Clark, assistant comptroller, comptrol-ler, Utah Operations for the U.S. Steel Division. Born in Hurricane, Mr. Roundy Roun-dy completed his public education there before attending Brig'ham Young University, where he was graduated with a degree in accounting ac-counting in 1951. He began his employment with U.S. Steel at Geneva Works in the accounting department in September, 1051. Mr. Roundy served for two years in the U.S. Navy, receiving an honorable discharge as yeoman yeo-man second class in 1946. Mr. Roundy and his wife, the former Annie Moore of Provo, have eight children and reside at Dragerton. He was recently a resident of Pleasant Grove and until his move to Dragerton, served ser-ved as secretary of the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce. |
