Show 24 YEARS AGO In the Review On October 7 a lyceum was presented to the students of Grovocrest School. Bob Wood, chalk-talk cartoonist, drew caricatures, car-icatures, and pictures using crayons cray-ons and colored lights. He also sang songs and played the piano. ESN The annual mothers and daughters daugh-ters social will be held at Grove-crest Grove-crest School at 7:00 p.m. on Fri day, October 10. Mrs. Luclle Page public health nurse, will speak. All Sixth grade girts and their mothers are cordialy invited. ESN - Mrs. Inez Meservy, Second grade teacher and Mrs. Vida Anderson, Sixth grade teacher at Grovecrest were at BYU last Tuesday attending an Arithmetic workshop. ESN Student teachers assigned by BYU -to Grovecrest School for the next 12 weeks include: Margaret Mar-garet Johnson, Sixth grade; Marilyn Mari-lyn Berryhill, Kindergarten: Patricia Pat-ricia Dunn, First grade; Virginia Meservy, Third grade; Eleanor Pezoldt, Third grade and Dcanna Smith, Fifth grade. ESN Mrs. Ora Thorne and her remedial rem-edial students at Cent nil School have decorated the bulletin boards in fall colors and designs. ESN Students at Central Sohool en-joiyed en-joiyed a Puppet Show on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, October 8. The entertainment entertain-ment featured the story and songs relative to Cinderella. ESN The following student teachers from BYU will train at Central School during the next 12 weeks: Marilyn Harley and JoAnn Berrtel, Kindergarten ; Ann Brown, Third grade; Joyce Burnett, Burn-ett, Second grade and Kay T. Brown, Sixth grade. ESN The Central School is sponsoring sponsor-ing a sowing class which began Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. Miss Helen Weeks is the instructor. A fee of $1 per person will be charged. ESN , The Room Mothers of Central School are currently assisting the School Nurse in making eye examinations ex-aminations at the school. |
