Show New Optometrist Announces Opening in A. F. Dr. Duane G. Lund announced today that he has made arrangements arrange-ments tc take over the practice of American Fork's optometrist, Dr. Lawrence Madsen at 75 East Main. Dr. Lund was graduated from The Chicago College of Optometry Optom-etry in 1951 na has been practicing prac-ticing in Salt Lake City tor ihe pasj: seven years. While in Chicago Chi-cago attending college, h3 was se.ected to do clinic work at the National College of Education ,n Evanstcn, Illinois, to study re quirements of pre-school and school children. In 1957 Dr. Lund returned to Chicago for extensive post-graduate training in the fitting fit-ting of Contact Lenses and has acquired valuable experience in this field. Besides Contact Lenses, Dr. Lund plans to add still another service to the office. He will also have optical grinding equipment equip-ment and lens stock to facilitate faster and better service on prescriptions pre-scriptions for his patients. Dr. Lund, his wife, and four children are looking forward to making their home in this area. |
