Show LIONS HAP VIKINGS IN NON-LEAGUE TILT Scoring touchdowns in each of three quarters, the Payson Lions drubbed the Pleasant Grove Vikings Vik-ings 20 to 7 in a practice football foot-ball game played here on the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 1. The Lions marched 73 yards downfield for their first score after receiving the ball on th. opening kickoff. Paul Bjwers, Payson fullback, bulled over for the touchdown from 15 yards out. Lynn Oborn scored an additional one-pointer on an end run conversion. con-version. The ljne Viking score came soon thereafter when PG scooped scoop-ed up a Lion fumble. Craig Smith Viking signal caller, pass 3d to halfback Bruce Gray who ran the 12 yards necessary for the score. Evan Mat'.inson went end around for the extra point. It was Oborn again wi'h the star play of the afternoon as he ran back a Viking punt from his own 23 to the PG 13. In throe plays from there Grant Schaerer went off tin kle to score. In the foirth frame, Payson's J. Karl Wu'lhinglon passed to Austin Staheli for the third Lion touchdown. Worthington passed to Joe Allen for the extra point.
