Show I ' I I i I ; '- . 3 W. G. KLEMM . . . New Councilman W. G. Klemm Named New Counciiman W. Gerald Klemm was appointed appoint-ed a member of the Pleasant Grove City Council at the regular reg-ular Council meeting held last Monday night. He will succeed Councilman Rex Gourley, who recently re-cently resigned . because of a change in residence. The announcement an-nouncement of the appointment was made by Mayor Burton H. Adams, Tuesday morning. Mr. Klemm, a senior cost accountant ac-countant at Geneva Works, is a native of Salt Lake City and lives at 1050 East Fourth ' North, in Pleasant Grove. He is a graduate of the Strayer College of Accounting in Washington, Wash-ington, D.C. and a Veteran of World War II, with service in Europe. He currently is serving as District Dis-trict chairman of the Democratic Party and is president of the Young Democrats of Pleasant Grove. He has also served on the supervisory and credit committees com-mittees for the Geneva Federal Credit Union. For the LDS Church, Mr. Klemm has filled a mission to the Northern States and currently is a Stake Auditor and Project clerk for the Third-Sixth Ward building build-ing project. He married the former Erraa Chris toff erson of Lehi, and the couple have four children, Ger-aldine, Ger-aldine, Christine, David and Donald. |
