Show 4-H CLUB OBSERVES RURAL LIFE SUNDAY At Manila ward last Sunday evening eve-ning in comiection with Sacrament meeting, the 4-H club presented the following special program in observance ob-servance of Rural Life Sunday: Opening song, "Utah We Love Thee;" talk on 4-H victory program, by Miss Lyle Beth Atwood, president, presi-dent, Manila 4-H Victory club. Talk, "Club Work Trains for Citizenship," Citi-zenship," Miss Irene Warnick, president presi-dent of third year foods project. "My Morning," by home science girls' chorus. 4-H club pledge by dairy project members. 4-H club creed, Ruth Brown, vice president and reporter, second year clothing project. Song, "Rosary," home science girls' chorus. Talk, J. F. Day. Closing talk was made by S. R. Boswell, Utah county agent. Closing song, "God Bless America" Amer-ica" and benediction pronounced by Miss Ruby Jeppson. The program was under direction of club leaders, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Warnick, with Miss Leah Jean Swenson in charge. The chapel was decorated with 4-H pennants and loving cups, which the club has won for former achievements. |
