Show Cavemen Meet Lincoln Quint In Game Tonight With half of their league games1 still before them, the Cavemen of American Fork high school will have a chance to hit the come-back trail tonight (Friday), when they meet Lincoln on Lincoln's home floor. The Cavemen toppled before the fast and powerful attack of the Pro-vo Pro-vo high school Bulldogs, in last Friday Fri-day night's game. It was an off-night off-night for the local boys they bombarded bom-barded the gasket but apparently were unable to find the hoop, and their offense didn't seem to click against the Provo team. Several substitutions were made by Coach Grant Ingersoll, but none of the combinations solved the problem. The final score read 36 to 17 fo.- the visitors. American Fork has won two of its five games, and although the team has suffered three reverses, fans are stDl backing them to make a better showing. Five more games remain in the schedule, and a victory vic-tory over Lincoln might be the turning turn-ing point for them. In other district games last weekend, week-end, Pleasant Grove remained in the top spot of the league standing by winning a close game with the Lehi Pioneers, 42 to 41. B. Y. High defeated de-feated Lincoln, giving them the second sec-ond position. Provo is in the third spot. o |
