Show Proclamation The Boy Scouts of America, incorporated in-corporated February 8, 1910, and Chartered by Congress June 15, 1916 have, during the past thirty years,' rendered notable service to the Nation. Na-tion. They have done effective work in this community and throughout the country. Practically 9,000,000 persons through Scouting, have enjoyed adventure, ad-venture, hiking, camping, swimming, and fellowship, and have learned how to be helpful to others. During the week from February 7 to 13, the Boy Scouts of America will celebrate their Thirty-First Anniversary THEREFORE, I, V. N. West, Mayor May-or of the City of Pleasant Grove, do hereby recommend that the citizens of this city observe the Boy Scout Week; that our Civic Organizations, our Churches, and our schools cooperate coop-erate in carrying out a definite recognition rec-ognition of the effective service rendered by the Boy Scouts of America in order that the work of the Boy Scout Program may be extended ex-tended to a larger proportion of the boyhood of this city. In witness whereof, I have hereunto here-unto set my hand and caused the seal of this city to be affixed.
