Show A. F. Recreation Department To Give Broadcast On Tuesday, February 11, the American Fork Recreation department, depart-ment, under the sponsorship of the Recreation Committee of which Jesse M. Walker is chairman, will present a thirty-minute broadcast over radio station KOVO. The program pro-gram is scheduled from 2:15 to 2:45. The program is one of a series on WPA play schools and community recreation, given by various communities com-munities throughout the state. The topic: "Expression Through Crafts" will be carried out by the American Fork group, this topic having been assigned because American Fork has the distinction of having one of the most outstanding and successful crafts departments in the state. With Clarence A. Grant as master of ceremonies, an interesting program pro-gram will be presented. It will include in-clude a talk on "Expression Through Crafts" by Mrs. Ellen Tracy; a reading, read-ing, "Seventeen", by Betty Houston; and a talk on the highlights of American Fork's leisure-time program, pro-gram, by Mrs. Ora H. Chipman. Mr. Grant will give a short talk on the organization of recreation in American Ameri-can Fork. Several musical numbers will be interspersed with the talks. |
