Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Peterson and daughter, Renee, of Eureka, have moved to American Fork, and will make their home indefinitely with Mrs. Peterson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Christensen. Mr. Peterson was former manager of the Chapman Variety Store in Eureka. His broth-er-in-law, "Wilson Lee, and who is a former resident of this community, is the new manager of the concern. A charming social event of last week was the meeting of the Bee Orchis ladies at the home of Mrs. Vern Walker. Sewing was the feature diversion of entertainment, followed by a delicious luncheon. There were sixteen present including two special guests, Mrs. Ray Ellison and Mrs. Frank Humphries. The Club ladies will be entertained next Thursday afternoon, February 6, at the home of Elwyn Wridc. All members ere invited to be present. Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Evans of Pay-son. Miss Stella Julian hag commenced working at the Wm. Thornton Drug Co., filling the vacancy left by Mi Sylvia Shipley, who has accepted a position with the local Dlxon-Taylor-Russell Co. Miss Shipley will assist Mrs. Ixirena Peterson in selling and with the book work. Mrs. Alex Karren was liosteHS to the members of the "Just A Mere" Club at her home Thursday evening. Bridge was enjoyed, followed by a dainty two course lunch. Those present pres-ent were: Mrs. Owen Lynch, Mrs. Bernard Storrs, Mrs. Glen Boley, Mrs. Milton Adams, Mrs. Elmo Bush, Mrs. Glen Varney, Mrs. Clyde Blrk, Miss Katherine Karren, Miss Violet Birk and Miss Loraine Stewart. The JaWaTa Club was pleasantly entertained Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Vern Boley. Two tables of bridge were in progress until late afternoon, when a splendid splen-did literary lesson was given, followed follow-ed by luncheon.
