Show Funeral Services Held Here For Am. Fork Native Funeral services tor Mrs. Alice Dean McNeill Jacobsen, widow of L. A. Jacobst-n, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vanda Shaffer, in Salt Lake City January 22, were held Sunday, January 2G, at 12 o'clock in the Fourth ward chapel. Previous to the services, the remains were viewed at the home of her father, Samuel Dean, Sr. Bishop Iot Robinson officiated at the services, which opened with a quartet composed of Mrs. Detta Taylor, Tay-lor, Mrs. Lyle Grant, Dr. James M. Grant and Leo T. Hansen singing "0 My Father". Prayer was given by Thomas Coddington, followed by a vocal duet "Sometime Somewhere" beautifully rendered by Mrs. Dctta Taylor and Mrs. Lyle Grant. Leo T. Shelley, Dr. James M. Grant and E. A. Mitchell of Provo were the speakers. Musical numbers interspersing the speakers consisted of a violin solo by Leland Priday and a vocal solo "I Have Read Of A Beautiful City" by Mrs. Nan Wright. A quartet composed of Mrs. Nan Wright, Mrs. Helen Walker, Leo T. Hansen and Lot Robinson sang as a concluding number "I Will Give You Rest", after which President Earl S. Greenwood pronounced the benedict tion. James E. Peters dedicated the grave in the City Cemetery, where interment was made. |
