Show leived from duty because of the reduced re-duced strength cf the company. Lt week the spike camp of Soap-stc.ne Soap-stc.ne was visited by Captain Taber, Superintendent Hyde, and Educational Educa-tional Advisor Merrill. Each went to inspect and aid in their respective fields. Mr. Owen George, ECW caterpillar driver, has been very busy the past week moving the heavy equipment for road building, from the main camp to Soapstone and Mirror Lake, where considerable work will be done this summer. Word was received at camp on Monday that fourty-three new en-rollees en-rollees would arrive some time during dur-ing the week. A rush call came Monday about noon for every available man in camp to go to Provo canyon and fight the fire that had started there some time Monday morning. Ranger I Vivian West put in a call for men both from the camp and the railroad rail-road company, with a fine response. CCC Camp News I By Roy S. ' While there, they visited many ' places of interest and reports the j trip as very worth while. j Ray Atkin, medical attendant I spent the week-end at his home in I Beaver, Utah. ' Captain B. E. Taber and Educational Educa-tional Advisor Ray S. Men-ill had Mrs. Taber, Mrs. Merrill and Doctor and Mrs. C. A. Munns of Brigham : City, -as dinner guests on Sunday.
