Show the forenoon, games and sports will be the afternoon's entertainment and in the evening a program will be given to which the public is invited. Relatives from Spanish Fork, Arizona, Ari-zona, and Alpine were present. Mrs. Lincoln Carlisle and Mrs. R. W. Wiser are visiting Mrs. Carlisle's Carl-isle's sister, Mrs. Alice Davis, in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bates and children, Mrs. Benjamin Bates and Mrs. Madelene Wilkin spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday at Helper visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Baxter of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Barnes and children of Long Beach, California, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Strong. Mr. and Mrs. Thirl Marsh and children and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Brockbank of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks and children of Lehi were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Marsh. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hunter and baby of Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bushman of Provo, Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Wirth and children of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hunter Hun-ter and children were guests July 4th of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Moyle. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Cleghorn and children and Mrs. Martin of American Fork were Alpine visitors July 4th. Alpine News Mrs. Leonard Bates, Reporter Alpine fittingly observed July 4th with an interesting program, a miniature parade, races.etc. and a picture show in the evening. An item of interest missed last week was the birthday party given in honor 'of Mrs. A. J. Adams at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown. Mi-, and Mrs. Glenn Terry and children were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vesper Diamond at Spring -ville. Descendants of James and John Healey, early pioneers of Alpine, will meet in a family reunion Saturday, July 18th, at the Recreational Hall. A business meeting will be held in |
