Show Bible Quotations BY C. V. HANSEN When the Lord in company with two other men, visited Abraham and partook of his hospitality, the Lord said to him, where is Sarah thy wife? He said, in the tent. Abraham Abra-ham was then informed that at the appointed time Sarah should bring forth a son to him. Sarah was behind be-hind the tentdoor, and heard what was said. Now as both Abraham and Sarah were getting along in years, it appeared to Sarah unnatural, un-natural, and she laughed at the idea. And the Lord said unto Abraham, Abra-ham, "Wherefor did Sarah laugh, saying, shall I of a surety bear a child, which amold, Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son." Sarah, no doubt had become frightened, and through fear she denied that she laughed and the Lord said: Nay; but you did laugh. The prophecy was fulfilled as in due time the son was born.
