Show S Ten Years Ago j Now (Taken from files of July 10, 1926) A bolt of lightning struck through an open doorway at the Orem plant cf the Pleasant Grove Canning Co. Thursday afternoon leaving David Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sant Walker, on the floor in a semiconscious semi-conscious condition. The young man and his companions were working near the doorway where they had pulled their machine for better light. The application of first aid scon revived Mr. Walker. Ten Years Ago wow Joseph Johnson of Lindon and Thomas Adamson each suffered personal per-sonal injuries late Monday evening when the cars they were driving crashed into each other. Johnson was thrown from his car in an unconscious un-conscious condition and Adamson received a broken nose and other injuries it is reported. Both cars were badly damaged. Ten Years Ago Now Mrs. Ray Carlson entertained Wednesday evening at a miscellaneous miscellane-ous shower at her home in honor of Miss Maruine Adamson, who was married Friday to Mr. Noel Simper of Murray. I Ten Years Ago Now Among those who took advantage of the open fishing season and enjoyed en-joyed a trip to Strawberry Valley were: S. A. Kirk, Herman Green, Mark Renins, Roy Deveraux, Ezra F. Walker, Karl Banks, Herman Parduhn, Roy Smith, Sam Walker, Howard Mathews and LeRoy Thorne. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Sample and Miss Briteswell of Australia, and W. S. Rawlings of Salt Lake, all relatives of Mrs. Annie Holman, visited at the Holman home last Thursday. |
