The child was riding on the back of a wagon and as the car driven by Arch Peterson of this city, attempted to pass the wagon, the child ran in front of it. Ten Years Ago Now Four curious youths of this city partook of the infamous California Milk-oline intoxicant last week. The beverage is a combination of gasoline gaso-line and milk and is said to be very good, in California. The bovs slidi- ed, moaned and looked to friends and relatives for sympathy for several seve-ral days while; recovering and if their looks tell, they will be several more days before normal again. I Saturday, in celebration of the i thirteenth anniversary of the organization or-ganization of the American Fork Sorosis club, the ladies gave a birthday birth-day dinner at the home of Mre. Leo T. Shelley. The rooms were cleverly decorated in lavendar and gold, which were effectively used also in the table decorations, favors, place cards, etc. Following dinner, "500" was played. Wednesday being the birthday of Mrs. Delbert Chipman, relatives, neighbors and the Y. L. M. I. A. stake board members tendered her a genuine surprise party in the afternoon. after-noon. Games were enjoyed and a dainty lunch served. |
