Show Official Opening Of Lions New Quarters Set The official opening of the Lion's new quarters in the basement of the Harrington school building will be held Thursday evening of next week. The Lion ladies are in charge of the opening social and are planning a banquet, and social which will surpass sur-pass any here-to-fore given by the club. AU. members and their partners part-ners and former members and partners part-ners will attend. Through the efforts of the Lion members, an entire room has been built and fully equipped as an up-to-date kitchen, the cost of material being furnished by the Lions and the labor by the WPA project setup. set-up. The new quarters will give the Lions a permanent place of meeting where club properties and effects may be kept and where regular meetings and socials can be staged. The new Kitchen is 12x22 feet and is equipped with one new gas range, service table and cupboards occupying the west and south sides. A service hall leading from kitchen to amusement room, equipped with serving table and service window, makes possible the efficient serving of luncheons. The club owns their own dishes and silverware to accommodate accom-modate service for 75 people, together to-gether with tables and table coverings. cover-ings.
