Show Home Wedding Tendered Young Couple A beautifully arranged nuptial event took place Sunday noon when the marriage of Miss Lenore Crooks-ton, Crooks-ton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Crookston, and Mr. Theo J. Burton, was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents. President Clifford E. Young, of the Alpine stake, performed per-formed the ceremony at 12:00 noon in the presence of 50 relatives and close friends of the young couple. The rooms were attractively decorated deco-rated with sweet peas and -carna- tions in pink and white. The bridal party took their place in front of the piano while Gene M. Halliday played a bridal march. The lovely young bride was beautiful beau-tiful in her wedding gown of white satin with a veil of silk chiffon attached at-tached to a band of hand made lace, studded with pearls and lilies-of-the valley. She carried a 'bouquet of pink roses. Immediately after the ceremony the Soririty sisters of the N. L. U. social unit of the Brigham Young university, formed a circle around the bride and groom and waltzed and sang "Our Sister", each one in turn stepping up and saluting the bride with a kiss. Miss Crookston wrote the words of the 6ong, which is used to salute newly pledged' members and at weddings of members. mem-bers. After a short honeymoon trip the newlyweds will make their home in Kennelworth, Utah. |
