Show Gold and Green Ball Queens Chosen A quartet of feminine loveliness will grace the annual M- I. A- Gold and Green ball February 21st in the Apollo and officiate in the capacities capaci-ties of queens of this social event-The event-The selection of the final three queens was made last Tuesday night by the First, Second and Third ward M. I. A.'s. The Fourth ward queen was selected last week. Those upon whom the honor has fallen this year are: First ward, Miss Mabel Huggard, daughter of Mi-, and Mrs. Frank Huggard; Second Sec-ond ward, Miss Christine Ramsay, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. H. H-Ramsay; H-Ramsay; Third ward, Miss Grace Parker, daughter of Mr- and Mrs. Ernest Parker; Fourth ward, Miss Lois Parduhn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Parduhn. The Apollo hall, in which the ball is to be held, will be entirely redecorated re-decorated for the occasion. Since the inauguration of an annual M-I. M-I. A. ball here the various decorative decora-tive schemes employed have had the gold and green colors- This year the decoration committee has worked out an effect employing entirely en-tirely different colors, and the setting set-ting is to be in colonial, in keeping with the season. Another new feature this year will be the dancing of four types of dances by M- I- A. members of the four wards, each ward to have a different dance. |
