Show Am. Fork Locals i Visitors Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Grant were Mrs. Lottie Ciayton and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Sorenson, Mrs! Iris Haddo, Mrs. Emma Chase and Mrs. George Brunker, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Taylor Tay-lor and family of Garfield. Max Grant returned to Garfield with the Taylor's, for a visit there. Mrs. E. L. Bressler and Miss Dorothy Doro-thy Bressler, of Torrington, Wvom- ing, and Mrs. Bob Bressler of Chey-1 Chey-1 enne, were visitors this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Werner. Mrs. Harold Werner, who has been here for some time, accompanied them to Torrington Thursday for an indefinite stay. Helen Devey of American Fork and Edith Marsh of Alpine are scheduled to receive degrees and diplomas di-plomas this June when Brigham Young university holds its sixty-second sixty-second annual commencement exercises. exer-cises. Helen Devey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Devey. She will receive a normal diploma. Edith ' "'F'vuia, JLLU.!-.!! Marsh is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Marsh. She will receive an A. B. degree with a major in sociology and a minor in English. With nearly 400 persons listed as candidates for degrees and diplomas, diplo-mas, B. Y. TJ. is preparing for impressive im-pressive ceremonies. Parents are expected to come from various parts of the country to witness the exercises exer-cises in which their sons and daughters will take part. LeGrand Richards, presiding bishop bish-op of the L. D. S. Church will deliver de-liver the baccalaureate sermon June p; and George R. Hill of the super-intendency super-intendency of the Sundav schools 'Vill speak at the commencement program June 8. |
