Show Two Of Family Receive Diplomas Miss Irene Binns, daughter of Mrs. Nell Binns, was graduated from the L. D. S. hospital nursing school at annual exercises Friday night of last week at Kingsbury hall at the University of Utah. A large group of relatives and friends from American Fork attended atten-ded the exercises, and the graduation gradua-tion dance which followed at the Union building. They were: Mrs. Nell Binns and Niles, Kenneth Ken-neth and Dale Binns, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bate, Mildred Bate, Mrs. Haydee Thornton, Virginia Thornton, Thorn-ton, Mrs. Maud Thornton, Miss Ly-dia Ly-dia Olsen, Wendell Kirkpatrick, Miss Edith Walker, Arthur Gordon, Miss Edith Thornton, Mrs. Kenneth Robinson, Rob-inson, Glen Haslam, Miss Bertha. Carson, Miss Ruth Fage, and Miss Mabel Huggard. Mrs. Nell Binns and Mrs. Maud Thornton will leave Tuesday for Ames, Iowa, where they will attend Wayne Binns' graduation at the Iowa State college. Mr. Binns this year will complete his studies in veterinary medicine at the college. He has accepted a position po-sition in his professional line near Chicago. Mrs. Thornton and Mrs. Binns will spend some time in Chicago after the exercises. They expect to take about ten days for the trip. |
