Show Triple C. Company Moves To Kamas, Starts Projects The entire personnel of Company 3544 moved to their summer location loca-tion at Soap-stone, Kamas, la.st Tuesday. Tues-day. Captain J. Hobart Miller returned from his leave. H3 has recently moved his family to Kamas for the summer. The Softball team defeated Lehi in another game the afternoon of the 25th. Captain Reuben Curtis, Chaplain, gave another interesting program during the ALL CAMP NIGHT program pro-gram Thursday. He had as his guests for the evening three young ladies from Salt Lake City, who gave readings and songs in very pleasing fashion. Captain Curtis had as his theme "Making the Most Out of Yourselves." Foreman Laursen, Thompson and MacFarlane had the misfortune of being dumped into Provo river while returning to work Tuesday morning. morn-ing. The car in which they were riding slid off the bank and rolled over into the river. Defective steering steer-ing mechanism was reported as the cause of the accident- None of the men were hurt. Extensive alterations are in progress prog-ress in camp during this week. The showerhoase is being repaired, and showers put in for the officers and foremen. The camp reading room and dark room are being improved. The technical service are doing work cn the new road into camp from the main highway, so that all traffic doesn't have to come through the center of camp. Plans are being pushed for baseball base-ball this year. The diamond has recently undergone repairs and is now in readiness for some good practices. A softball round-robin tournament tourna-ment is underway for the coming week, between the various company streets. It is expected that "hot" competition will be shown through-' out the entire tournament- |
