Show Regular season ends for sixth grade Junior Jazz The last week of regular play proved to be the most exciting of the entire season for the Sixth Grade Jr. Jazz. Three games were undecided un-decided until the buzzer and two teams were upset. In the first game of the day, the unbeaten Olsen team finally met their match as they fell to Davis 27-24. 27-24. Both teams applied strong full court pressure and surprisingly no players fouled out even though there was a combined total of 37 fouls being called on the two teams. Brandon Huntsman lead his team in the win with 13 points. Tony Norrie scoredj) as his team lead for most of the game before falling behind in -the last quarter for the loss. Harmer's team, looking for their first win, almost upset Johnston before succumbing in the last seconds to lose by two. David Long scored 9 to lead his team to the win. Paul Lemke put on a strong individual in-dividual effort in the loss as he scored 17 points including three 3-point 3-point shots. In the second upset of the day Allen crushed Walker 30-15. Cody Anderson and Ryan Allen each scored 12 points to pace their team to the win. Larsen held on to first place by downing Fenton 25-11. Andy Larsen and Josh Martin both scored in double figures to help their team stay undefeated. Corey Laycock lead his team with 7 in the loss. This Friday and Saturday the teams will start tournament play. We encourage all parents and fans to come out and support their team.
