He married Virginia Ann Allred Aug. :!, 19(15 in Sandy. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LOS Temple. He retired after 34 years as an electrician at (ieneva Steel. He was a veteran ol I he Korean War. He was a past president of the Pleasant (.rove Kaglcs. He was an Strasburg. both ol Drcm; Cor den Strasburg. Scot Slrasburg and Mrs. Hecse ( Annette i Myers, all of American Fork; Virginia Bragg. Win nemucca, Nev.; Sherie ('anion. Sail Lake City; :iH grandchildren; Ihree daughters and Ihree sons by a previous marriage; two sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. :;i. in the American Fork 4lh Ward. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. Military rites were conducted by VFW District 4. Belliston, 74, of Pleasant Grove, died October 30, 1988 at his home following a long illness. He was born June 26, 1914inNephi,Utah to Albert Henry and Jenny Wheeler Bellis-ton. He married Faye Shepherd in January of 1935 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was educated in Nephi schools where he was prominent in ath-letics and school gov-ernment serving as student body president of the Jr. and Sr. high schools. He later at-tended BYU. He served in many positions in the LDS Church including stake clerk, Ward and Stake Sunday School presi-dent; Seventies presi-dent; high counselor, bishops counselor and bishop. During the past few years he was active in the High Priests and in temple work. He was active in community and civic affairs serving as presi-dentoft- Jr. Chamber of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce He is survived by his wife, Pleasant Grove; two sons and two daughters: Jerry Bel-liston, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Karen) Cordner, Las Vegas; Marcus Belliston, De-troit, Michigan; Mrs. Roger T. (Kathie) Russell, Sandy; 15 grandchildren; nine his step-mothe- r: Elsie M. Belliston, Provo; a brother and a sister; Mrs. Jack (Deon) Heath, Boise, Idaho; Angus H. Belliston, Provo. He was pre-ceded in death by a sis-ter and two brothers: Nelda, Leland and Harold. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Manila Stake Cen-ter, 1800 North at 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call at Olpin Family Mortu-ary, 500 South at 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. or at the church Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. and washonored with a lifetime membership. He had been a member of the Lions and Kiwa-ni- s Clubs. He served on many committees and projects for the im-provement of the com-munity. He was manager for Christensen's Depart-ment store for 44 years. 40 in the Pleasant Grove store. His kind, gentle and patient disposition touched the lives of many. He was loved by all that knew him. Al-though he excelled in many areas, his wife and family were where hereceivedhis greatest joy. Margaret B. Pauta f , 4 I J Margaret Louise Bezzant Pauta, 37, died Oct. 29, 1988 in Provo of a heart condition. She was born July 3, 1951 in American Fork, the daughter of Robert Allen and Grace LaRae Huffman Bezzant. She married Kilina Pauta. They later divorced. She was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. She was em- - ployed as an LPN at ' American Fork Hospital for 10 years. She is survived by her mother, Americn Fork; one brother and two sisters: Robert Ray of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Robert (Janet) Ehrman, Kearns; Cindy Kaye Bezzant, American Fork. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the American Fork City Cemetery. Friends may call at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 North, American Fork, that date from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. two sons: Philip K. and Jason, both of Provo; Patricia Jean Ross Patricia Jean Ross, 41, died Oct. 24, 1988 in the American Fork Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born May 25, 1947 in Salt Lake City, to Thomas Joseph and Norma Perkins Ross. Both of Pat's parents have preceded her in death. Pat has resided at the Utah State Training School for the past 31 years. She worked at various jobs at the school until the past few or visited there. She attended seminary and the LDS Branch there. A funeral service was held at the LDS State Training School Branch Thursday, Oct. 27, at 10:30 a.m. She was buried in the Redwood Memorial Estates in Salt Lake City.
