Show Variety show planned for P.G. arts week 1 An exciting variety show has" been planned to celebrate National Arts Week in Pleasant Grove, according ac-cording to Keith Christeson, chairman. chair-man. The program will be held Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday, Nov. 9 and 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the new Library Auditorium on the lower level. There is no charge for the program pro-gram and the entire community is invited to attend. The Pleasant Grove Players will present an old-time melodrama, the Pleasant Grove High School jazz band and string orchestra will perform, there will be an instrumental instru-mental solo and vocal solos. There will also be a display of artwork by Pleasant Grove area artists. All those who would like to display dis-play their work are invited to contact con-tact Delia Davis at the City Hall, 785-5045. All pieces should be brought to the Senior Citizen Center, adjacent to the auditorium between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Nov. 9. They may be picked up following the program on Nov. 10. This is a good opportunity for local artists to display their work for the enjoyment of the public. This program is beingsponsored by the Pleasant Grove Arts Council and is intended to provide local residents with the best in entertainment enter-tainment at no cost. |
