Show Art entries judged With over 1,000 entries, judges for the Youth Art Exhibit of the Utah Pageant of the Arts were hard pressed to determine the winners when they met Saturday at the Pageant Center. Marcia Peterson, Exhibit Director, said the entries were from all-over the state, and included entries from youth from kindergarten kin-dergarten through twelfth grade. Names of winners will be announced an-nounced at Guild Gala night on June 15, with the winner of "Best of Show" to receive a $75 U.S. Savings Bond. Sweepstake winners in each grade will be presented with a $50 U.S. Savings Bond. Judging entries were area artists Allen Reinhold, Gina Peterson, JoAnne Nerdin Corpany, and Carol P. Harding. Jeri Draper is co-ordinator of the Youth exhibit which each year attracts at-tracts top up-and-coming artists from throughout Utah. Entries will be on display at the Youth Art Exhibit during the 1985 season of the Utah Pageant of the Arts, according to Betty N. Brady, chairman of the Pageant board of directors. |
