Show Police investigate thefts Konsigned Kar Kor 860 West Slate Road, Pleasant Grove, reported two thefts to Pleasant Grove Police this past week. A Shwinn Stingray Mongoose 'alued at $75 was taken from the esidence of Barbara Grant, 705 N. i 1020 East, between Jan. 31 and Feb. t The bike was later recovered at he Lions Club Building, according Officer Dave Vickers. A Karman Ghia owned by 3eborah Tate, 1493. E. 300 South, Pleasant Grove, was vandalized Friday at the Pleasant Grove High parking lot. Damage to the vehicle was listed at $300. The owner was attending a dance at the high school when the incident occurred, according to Officer Dave Vickers. In Lindon at the Marina, Norm Castle reported the theft of a 14 foot aluminum Mirrocraft boat. The boat was yellow and had a three gallon fuel tank. The boat is valued at $1,000. The theft was reported to Officer Lonnie Wilson on Jan. 28. There are no suspects. Also in Lindon, Kip Apostol, 281 W. 300 North, Orem, reported that when he went to work on a house in Lindon on Feb. 1 he found that 18 sheets of CDX three-quarter inch plywood was missing. Value of the wood was listed at $238.50. A neighbor reported seen a vehicle at the site the week before but there was no description of the vehicle available. Officer Jay Thornton investigated the theft. A sheepskin seat cover valued at $100 was taken from a car owned by Jenae Durrant, 630 N. 200 East, Lindon. There is a suspect in the Feb. 2 theft, according to Officer Vickers. |
