Show Dr. David Timpson named anesthes- iology diplomate Dr. David G. Timpson, Director of Anesthesia at American Fork Hospital, has beeri named a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Although it is not a requirement for the practice of anesthesia, this certification represents the highest recognized level of clinical and academic competence in anesthesiology. To receive certification, a Diplomate must complete an M.D. degree, three to four years of residency training in anesthesiology, two to three years of clinical practice, and finally pass rigorous written and oral examination. Dr. Timpson has been in practice at the American Fork Hospital since February of 1981 and lives in Alpine with his wife, Tamera, and their four children, Daniel, Elicia, Tara and Jana. The Timpsons enjoy music as a' hobby and Tamera has given numerous violin concerts in the area, accompanied by Dr. Timpson. Mrs. Timpson received a degree in violin performance from BYU in 1973, and has been a soloist appearing ap-pearing on national television, and with various orchestras, including the Utah Symphony. |
