In turn the children have a chance to learn about foods and their values and teachers add some variety to the curriculum. Demonstrations were done on foods from other countries, the basic four food groups, nutritional snacks, ways to use milk, bread and vegetables. Children spent about 10 minutes in each demonstration with about 10 children in each group. There were nine demonstrations and each student got to attend six of them. Visual aids, tasting, and questions and answers were allowed in each demonstration. |
