Show Jay and Dorothy Jacob sen to celebrate Golden Anniversary MarJay and Dorothy Jacobsen of Pleasant Grove will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 12. They were married May 12, 1934 in Provo. MarJay Jacobsen was born Jan. 5, 1914 to Lars and May Jacobsen in Provo. . . He worked for various farmers and retired from Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company in January 1977, after 37 years of employment. He has belonged to Provo City Bowling League for about 30 years. His hobbies are fishing, bowling, gardening gar-dening and traveling. Dorothy Jacobsen was born May 1, 1917 to Andy and Jenny (Jane) Johnson in Provo. She worked for Intermountain Theaters and retired from food " JAY & DOROTHY JACOBSEN children: LaMar Jacobsen, Orem; LeRoy Jacobsen, Sandy; Mrs. Nadine (Kent) Johnson of American Fork. They have 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Their children will honor them with a family dinner at Schonwald Terrace. service at BYU in September 1977, after 18 years of employment. She has worked in the Primary and Sunday School. Her hobbies are handiwork, fishing and traveling. They worked 12 years as leaders over the Senior Citizens in the 16th and 31st Wards in Orem. They are now members of the Pleasant Grove Senior Citizens. They are members of the Trail Dusters chapter of the Good Sam Club, where Jay is wagon master. They are the parents of throe |
