Show Diet Center opens nutritional classes to the public at no charge The Diet Centers in American Fork and Pleasant Grove have opened up their nutritional behavior classes to the general public at no charge. The six-week series are being taught Tuesday evenings at 7 at the Diet Center of Pleasant Grove, 140 South Main, No. 5. The classes are a regular part of the Diet Center program, and focus around the basics of nutrition, digestion, obesity, the role of physical activity and what to do about everpresent sugar. The Diet Center, operated by Marcia Crockett in American Fork and Joyce Allen in Pleasant Grove, focuses on behavior modification, as well as daily visits to the center for weighing in, to help individuals reduce their weight and keep it reduced.
