It will be held at Lindon City Lions' Park Sit pavillion. . pet Show is open to all types st-i 'animals and insects, and entrants 4 lav be of any age from zero to -lety-nine. Personalized cer-vSSis cer-vSSis and ribbons will be S, awards to the winners of various 1 1 .-tegories. X Classes are divided into six h mm, cats, small dogs, large logs rabbits, birds and k! miscellaneous. All groups will be judged in the following categories-loveable, categories-loveable, most like owner, cuddliest, cud-dliest, most affectionate, best-groomed, best-groomed, best-dressed, . most dignified, most humorous nature, tiniest, largest, shy and sweet, most outgoing, and best personality. All animals will have to be controlled con-trolled by leash, cage or the owner holding on to it. According to Allyson Christof-ferson Christof-ferson the Pet Show was a big success last year. Some of the animals shown included a talking cockatiel and a very unusually colored parrot. Audience participation par-ticipation was also wonderful and very much appreciated. Allyson hopes to have an even larger turnout tur-nout to the Pet Show this year. Sounds like lots of fun, so don't miss it! PGHS Homecoming Queen candidates: Front, Malinda Merrill (Drill Team), Laurie Ostler (Junior Class), Lisa Jones (Ski Club), Tiffany Newman (FFA), Lena Schoonover (Tennis), Julie Brown (A Cappella), Wendy Hardy (Journalism). Middle: Lorna Joseph (GAA(, Becky Ellis (Student Council), Lani Gurr (Band), Audra Farnell (KPGR), Andrea Smith (FHA), Michelle Newman (Cheerleaders), Trudy Anderson (Or- chesis). Back: Nicole Harmon (Pep Club), Angle Bone (FBLA), D'nette Holdaway (DECA), Denise Dickerson (Cloggers West), Andrea Rowley (Senior Class), Pam Johanson (National Honor Society), Michele Palmer (Drama). These 21 girls will compete for Homecoming Queen honors tomorrow night at the Queen Pageant in the high school auditorium. ; , . This group of girls have performed in ihe.lniermountain Area and won second place in the state Rocky Mountain Drill Contest. They are from Pleasant Grove, Lindon, Orem and American Fork. They have performed in drill, jazz, clog, tap and creative ballet. The Mini Jazzettes, the Junior Jazzettes and the Super Jazzettes will be performing at the Pleasant Grove City Fair at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 22. |
