Show Public Notice : Bacteria Violation Tests .conducted during the third quarter of 1983 indicated excessive ex-cessive bacteria in the Manila Culinary Water Company. During the third quarter of 1983, bac-teriologic bac-teriologic analyses indicated a total of 20 coliform bacteria in seven samples. This results in a quarterly average of three coliforms per 100 milliliter sample. This constitutes a violation since Utah Regulations allow an average of no greater than one coliform per 100 milliliter sample. It should be noted the unsatisfactory water samples seemed to be from one particular area. Samples submitted sub-mitted from other areas during this period were satisfactory. The company feels the problem has been corrected and will continue to monitor said area so as to be certain. Water samples submitted for testing up to this time in the fourth quarter have been satisfactory. David M. Faux Secretary Treasurer Published in the Pleasant Grove Review Nov. 16, 21, and 30, 1983. |
