Show I i Alpine Arts Council presents Diana Kacso : j Diana Kacso, one of today's most gifted young pianists, will be presented in recital by the Alpine Arts Council, Friday, March 11th'; 8:00 p.m., at 468 East 100 South, Alpine. Miss Kacso, a native of Brazil now living in New York, has held audiences spellbound with her total artistry in concerts on five-1 'continents. She has been a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic, the London Mozart Players, the Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Utah, and Knoxville Symphony Orchestras, "to. name a few. -1 She has made numerous radio and television appearances throughout the world and has a Deutsch Grammophon recording to her credit. A top winner "in many, international competitions,? (Rubinstein, Leeds, Vina del Mar among others), Miss Kacso has most recently been awarded the Silver Medal as well as the coveted prize as . the audience's favorite in the Sixth Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in Salt Lake City. The March 11th program will include Sonata in B-flat Major, K. 333 by Mozart; Gaspard de la Nuit by Ravel; Scherzo No. 1 by Chopin; and Sonetto del Petrarco Nos. 104 and 123, and Mephisto Waltz by Liszt 1 |
