Sets may be . purchased from contestants or members of the C0ATei?fine production is expected for those who are Plating, as well as for those who come to enjoy the talents of the contestants from our conrniumty. The winner of the Pageant becomes Miss Strawberry Days and goes to the Miss Utah Pageant. She will also win a cash scholarship to the college " of her choice. The committee for the Strawberry Pageant w Days Scholarship Donald pleased to announce that to serve as Zimmerman will return Master of Ceremonies for tne Pageant this year. Mr. Zimmerman is well qualified to host this annual event 1 he that he s committee feels fortunate willing to share his talents with our community. . The theme for the Pageant is btar Spangled Rhythm," and will feature a production number choreographed which is by Mr Zimmerman designed to show the poise, grace and beauty of the eight contestants who are seeking the title this year. Zimmerman owns and instructs his own dance studio, "The Dance Factory." in Provo. He has danced on the Osmond Show, Jimmy and Kristi McNichol TV Special, performed with LfoAt' Entertainment Showcase, BYU Orchesis, Theater Ballet, and Young Ambassadors. . Firemen's Auxiliary donates to mural for center The Pleasant Grove Firemen's Auxiliary donated $70 to the Senior Citizens Monday to be used for a mural in the senior citizens center. Carolyn Smith, president of the fireladies organization said the seniors had desired a mural to decorate their new quarters at the Recreation Center. She said the Senior Citizens have always sup-ported the annual Firemen's breakfast which is sponsored by the auxiliary. Proceeds from this breakfast are used for service projects within the community. The auxiliary has previously helped sponsor a girl at Girls State, carpeted the ladies dressing room at the city swimming pool, donated books to the city library, bought a tree for a city park, given money to the ambulance association, pur chased - new coveralls for the firefighters, and donated $200 toward acquiring new pagers for the fire department. Assisting Mrs. Smith in making the presentation to Lowell Duvall of the Senior Citizens were Becky Scott, vice president and Eberle Smith, secretary. ' j Phone 768-948- 1 Colony Square Condominium to be built in PG Condominiums priced low and designed to appeal to couples just starting out are being built by Mit- - chell Dean Construction at 460 E. 900 S., Pleasant Grove. Mitch McCuistion, partner in the company said, "Our main desire of Colony Square is to offer a luxury project that is priced in such a way as to allow the new family or the renter an opportunity to begin to build equity in their own home at about the same cost as if they were renting." Colony Square will be built in two phases. The company will erect an eight unit building first. Each unit will have 1100 square feet including three bedrooms and two and one-ha- lf 1 baths. These units are being pre-sol- d at a special price with a $2,000 com-mission rebate. There is a minimum - down payment of $400 with monthly payments as low as $299. The first building containing the eight units should be ready for oc-cupancy in about six months. The second phase will consist of two buildings. Colony Square will feature a full sauna and weight room, gazebo, picnic tables, bar-bequ-and will be fully landscaped. Swingsets, sandbox and play equipment will be provided for the children. The condos will be designed with a colonial style including bay windows, colonial railings, molding and trim. They will be of brick with aluminum siding. There will be a minimum con-dominium fee,. Mr. McCuistion said. Colony Square is being built in a newly developed area of Pleasant Grove. It is close to town, church and schools. Mitchell Dean Construction Company is owned by partners, H. David McCuistion and his son, Mitch. They are located in Pleasant Grove. Although a fairly new firm, the. owners have a wide background in construction.
