Show Review - Thursday, March 3, 1983 - Page 8 Youth City Council carries on Anti-Vandalis- m Week activities Pleasant Grove's Youth City Council are pleaned with the results of the poster contest which was held this week as a part of the activities for Week in the community. Approximately 700 elementary school age children participated in - the contest. First, second and third - place winners were chosen from Lindon, Valley View and Grovecrest Schools. The posters will be hung in local businesses to remind everyone of the fight against vandalism. ' - The Youth City Council, with Knmn Hnrmor ns rhniTin f tu" week, took a elide presentation to each school in the community. A showcase display was exhibited at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. The efforts of the week have been geared to making the students and public aware of the amount of vandalism in the area and what can be done about it The Youth City Council hopes that the time and effort put forth will help to stop vandalism in the city in the future. r' v. Central School Reflections winners named Central School has announced the winners in the school's annual Reflections Contest. Winners in art category for grades one through three are Mike Bullock, Carrillissa Lee, Jessica Rupper, Rebecca Smith, Cory Winder, Eric Huish, Jeremy Nelson and Karen Pavlick. Stephanie Lundell was the winner in the literature category for this age group. Art winners in the grades four through six are Archie Chischillie, Sherry Lynn Bair, Alex Foulger and Spring Smith. There were 85 total entries from Central School. Grove High School plans March Madness assembly Tomorrow is the March Madness Assembly (alias February Follies) at Pleasant Grove High School and all those who come will know that the assembly is just that . . .
