Show Youth City Council carries on Anti-Vandalism Week activities ! Pleasant Grove's Youth City Council are pleaned with the results of the Anti-vandalism poster contest which was held this week as a part of the activities for Anti-Vandalism Week in the community. Approximately 700 elementary school age children participated in - the contest. First, second and third - place winners were chosen from Lindon, Valley View and Grovecrest Schools. The posters will be hung in local businesses to remind everyone of the fight against vandalism. ' - The Youth City Council, with Knmn Hnrmor ns rhniTin f tu" anti-vandalism week, took a elide presentation to each school in the community. A showcase display was exhibited at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. The efforts of the week have been geared to making the students and public aware of the amount of vandalism in the area and what can be done about it The Youth City Council hopes that the time and effort put forth will help to stop vandalism in the city in the future. |
