Show C. Gieger winner in Lung !j Association give-away Six Utah families were winners in the 1982 Summer Life and Breath Sweepstakes, it was announced today by R. James Steenblik, president of the Utah Lung Association. The national Sweepstakes, a direct mail fund raising program sponsored by the American Lung Association, was conducted con-ducted in July. The Utahns, all winners of fifth place prizes were A.L. Anderson, An-derson, Ogden; Craig Beckstrom, Bountiful; C. Geiger, Pleasant Grove; Warren Haughey, Midvale; Sam Matsukaua, Salt Lake City; and Donna Wildermuth, Ogden. Each received a copy of the Family Medical Guide published by Better Homes and Gardens. $7,500 grand prize was : ' I Charles A. Huff of C Xenia, Ohio. A Garland, Utah man ' : was winner of a $500 prize in the March 1982 Life and Breath Sweepstakes. While a contribution is not required to par- : ticipate in the sweepstakes sweep-stakes event, many families indicated their support of the Utah O Lung Association by ; mailing a voluntary, :' tax-deductible gift. ;: Sweepstakes con- :: tributions totalled : $11,093 in Utah. Nation- :: wide income was more -: than one million dollars.
