The designers have successfully combined these flavors and created a whole new feeling of being er on a professional basis or in a casual setting without feeling mass produced, boring or unoriginal. A woman now has numerous choices in design, color and line and now can be an individual with her own choice of flair and originality and still appear professional and Fall of '82 in traditional-- circles does give you a choice. Now the dilemna; just to decide upon which color, or maybe how many of each? Photos and Information Provided by Donna Hemps buyer for the Gatsby Formal Wear Men's Fashion Deciding is your wedding should be a formal affair can be a confusing problem. Even after the decision to dress formally has been made, there are still many decisions to be made. What color should be used? How many people should dress in formal attire? Who decides on which color to use in the clothing? Basically the wedding is seen as the bride's responsibility the the groom usually goes along with the wishes of the bride. In today's formal wear market almost 99 percent of the wedding parties use white gowns and tuxes and 75 percent of that figure use the white tail on the tuxedos. This trend towards white formal wear is now about two years old. The cut is 'popular' and the color scheme is 'modern'. This trend towards "cor-fortabl-attire comes from the turn of the century. At that time formal wear was seen as an opportunity to dress up and have a good time during a formal oc-casion. Clothing designers anticipate that this trend will last for another two years. Booking a wedding in Utah County can also be a real headache. Utah County has more weddings per capita than anywhere else in the United States and the size of the weddings here are much larger. Con-sequently, booking a wedding can be a real problem unless preparations are made far in advance. Preparations should began at least two months in advance. That is the absolute minimum time, preferably there should be at least six months advance time to get ready for the marriage. Of course each couple will have to make their own decision about how soon to have the j wedding. Cost is also a major factor in deciding whether to go "formal". If the decision to go formal is made than the groom can expect to pay approximately $125 for five tuxedos. Extras will cost more money so be sure to plan ahead. If you do it, do it right. Dressing up in a formal outfit makes your wedding day a cut above the rest of your days. Go to a shop that can give you confidence. It's your day so make sure you get what you deserve in formal attire. Pay special at-tention to the cuts of the cloth, color, the price and the size range. When you try on the coat make sure that it fits well and looks well with the pants. Try to avoid the common problem of "slipping" a size. You can expect to make a selection from 13 styles and 28 colors or more. You should do business with a store that can get you anything you want. Some stores can only offer you a limited number of styles and colors. Information Provided by Rick Pierce at Leven's |
