Carrie Rowland, Ed Prewitt To Wed Today In Pi Grove Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rowland are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Carrie to Ed Prewitt, son of Charles Prewitt and Mrs. Hose Fletcher, today, July 29. A garden wedding will be performed at the home of the bride's parents. A reception will follow from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the same location, 75 South 1300 East, Pleasant Grove. Attending the bride will be Debbie Bing-ham, Belinda Told, Joan Penrod and Sandra Young as bridesmaids, and Brandy Rowland as flower girl. Dutips of the best man will be performed by Jim Prewitt and Cecil Prewitt. Ushers will be Chris Fletcher and Kent Rowland. Ring bearer is J. D. Tervort. Special guests will be Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rowland of Orem and Mr. and Mrs. John Housekeeper, grand-parents of the bride. Prenuptial parties were given by Maxine Rowland, Debbie Bing-ham, Paula Rowland, Karla Haynie, Annette Haynie and Belinda Told, Joan Penrod and Natlie Neilson. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Gresham High School. She served as a member of the LDS Seminary Council her senior year. She is in her third year at BYU, where she is a member of the women's choir. The prospective groom is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. He has served two years in the Taiwan LDS Mission. Open House Planned For Martha Maag 80th Birthday open house in her honor. It is requested that no gifts be given. An open house honoring Martha "Joie" Williams Marr-ot- t Maag on her 80th birthday will be given by her children on August 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Cove Point, Golden Living Retire-ment Center, 1186 Columbia Lane, Provo. Mrs. Maag has lived in Vineyard and Orem all her life. She enjoys handwork and has exhibited afghans at the state fair in the blind division. She has been an active member of the Utah Division for the Blind. She also enjoys gardening and is an active member of the LDS Church. She has seven child-ren: Mrs. Lester (Melba) Stewart, Verna Holt, Thomas Marrott, Mrs. Bill (Vera) Hund-ley and Joe Marrott, all of Orem; Weldon Marrott, Pleasant Grove; and Mrs. Lowell (Ronda) Tomlinson, Lindon.
