Show I Lindon Police Make Arrests By LINDA HARRIS Lindon police made several arrests -.' during the long holiday weekend. A 27-year-old Lindon man was - arrested on the charge of public in- - toxication and incarcerated in the ' county jail. Officer Jeff Adams made the arrest. - Bill M. Twenty-six-year-old Gregg L. Owen from New Braunfels, Texas is being held for extradition to that state on a felony charge. He has also been charged here for speeding, driving without a Utah driver's license, making an improper right turn, and escaping from custody. Officer Mike Manning had stopped the Owen vehicle on a routine traffic violation. While the officer was in his car checking out the offender, the man broke and ran. He was able to lose the officer, so Manning notified both the Orem and Pleasant Grove police, who then assisted in a search for the fleeing man. He was later located by Officer Manning behind the Maple Hills Motel in . Pleasant "Grove and brought into custody. |
