Show Thursday, July 29, 1982 - Page 18 Weisberg To Perform At Sundance Sundance recently announced an addition to its planned summer concert series. Tim Weisberg, a well-know-flute led quintet will perform at Sundance Thursday, July 29lh at 7:30 p.m. Weisberg's music has consistently defied categorization since he acquired a following with his first album for A and M Records in 1971. Through his eleven year career he has introduced audiences to a unique music style and a totally individualized approach to flute playing. An award winning Platinum album, "Twin Sons From Different Mothers" was recorded by Weisberg with Dan Fogelberg. The success of that album brought Weisberg and Fogelberg a substantial following. Weisberg, however, has proven he is very capable to captivating an audience with his own quintet covering an entire spectrum of music from Far Eastern to Calypso. His back-up group consists of keyboard and sythe- - sb.er, bass, guitar, and drums. Sundance has expressed exceptional enthusiasm for his concert there because they believe Weisberg's lyrical-lik- e sound paint-ing will combine with the dramatic Timp-anogo- s setting to enhance the concert experience. Tickets for the event are available at Sun-Danc- ZCMI, and Cosmic Airplane. The ticket price is set at $8 per person. The concert will be held outdoors at the Summer Theatre location.
