Show L DALK I). IIOWK ALAN N. IIOWK KYLK JOHNSON Three Pleasant Grove Youths Earn Eagle DaleD. Howe, Alan H. Howe and Kyle Johnson have received their Eagle Badges in ceremonies held in the Pleasant Grove East Slake. Dale and Alan are the fourth and fifth sons of Elliot C. and Maralyne Howe to receive the Eagle rank and Kyle, son of Dale and Lora Johnson, is the youngest of four boys in his family, all who have earned their Eagle badge. Dale is 17 years old, the vice president of finance in the student council al Pleasant Grove High School. He plays varsity basketball and has played basketball all during high school. He enjoys all kinds of sports and likes to fish and hunt. He has held various leadership positions in his ward. For his Eagle project he painted a building at the Pleasant Grove rodeo grounds. Alan, 15, is a sophomore at Pleasant Grove High School. He loves all kinds of sports. He has played on baseball, football and basketball teams. Alan also likes hunting and fishing. Alan was president of the Pleasant Grove Junior High Seminary . in I he ninth grade. He has held leadership positions in his ward priesthood quorums. He cleaned a field at the stake farm for his Eagle lroject. Kyle, a ninth grader, has been named Trojan of the month at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. He enjoys swimming and soccer. He plays the trombone in the junior high band and also plays the piano. Kyle is a member of the Teacher's Quorum of the Grove Ward. As a deacon he served as counselor to the president and then as president of the quorum. He is the youngest of four brothers, all of who have earned their Eagle. For his Eagle project he painted house numbers on the curb or steps in the Grove Ward area ol town. |
