Show Women's Legislative Council Hears Hickman Dr. Martin B. Some Articles otthe Constitution have Jlready been amended ythe voters of Utah in last several elec-"ons- This year the "Judiciary Article" will be submitted to the 1982 Legislature for their approval. The Judiciary Article of the Constitution now mandates ihree types of courts; Supreme, District and Justice of the Peace. The proposed revision would eliminate the detailed names of types of Courts, simply asking for a Supreme Court, and Courts of General Jurisdiction. The types of Courts would then be organized by a Judicial Council which would be made up of representatives represen-tatives of each Court and headed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. |
