Show Lecture on Weight Control Tonight The Utah Center for Mental Health and Family Relations, a private non-profit clinic, is sponsoring a free public lecture on weight control and hypnosis tonight, May 21, at 8 p.m. The purpose of the presentation is to acquaint the public with what hypnosis can and cannot do regarding weight loss. A licensed clinical psychologist will make the presentation. presen-tation. Mr. William R. Bireley, director of the Center, says hypnosis is a useful adjunct to a weight loss program, but consuming fewer calories than you burn is the key to taking off pounds. Mr. Bireley feels the value of incorporating in-corporating hypnosis in a weight loss program lies in helping the individual in-dividual maintain motivation and changing their attitude toward food.
