Show r : : ; : ; : Arabian Show Begins Tomorrow j The tenth annual Utah Valley Arabian Horse Show sponsored by the Utah Arabian Horse Club will be held May 22-23 at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds according to chairman, Lindsey Bayless of Lindon. This is a class "A" show and has drawn arabian owners from throughout Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho and other western states. Halter, youth and performance classes are scheduled during the two day event. Some of the classes include Park, English and Western Pleasure, Side Saddle, Driving, Dressage, Hackamore, Work Cow Horse, Trail and Stock Horse. Classes will begin Friday morning, May 22 at 8 a.m. and will include showmanship, youth and adult performance per-formance classes. They will begin at 2 . p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Halter classes will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 23 for half and purebred arabians and will continue again at 1:30 p.m. A parade of champions will be held immediately after the halter classes, followed by more performance classes. The Saturday evening session will begin at 7 p.m. and will include performance classes as well as the championship finals. The beautiful costume classes will be held early both Friday and Saturday evenings. Though there are many costumes they are never alike in design or color, as each creator strives for originality. These costumes are valued at over a thousand dollars each. The show will be held in the open arena, if the weather permits and in the covered area if it storms.
